My name is Michael Karpinski. I am 33 years old and live in Scottsdale, AZ. I grew up in Wyandotte, MI and worked for Ford Motor Company for ten years. I enrolled at Michigan State University in May 2010 and graduated in May 2012 with a Masters of Arts in Education, concentration Sports Leadership and Coaching.
I work at Gateway Academy, a private special day school specializing in students with High-Functioning Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. I teach 3rd-5th grades, all subject areas. I coach cross-country and track & field for my school, and co-founded a wilderness club. I tutor students with or without special needs as well.
I have been married for almost 8 years to a beautiful special education teacher. We have a 3 year old daughter and a new born baby girl. I am into hiking, mountain climbing, stand-up paddle boarding, and bike riding. I try to be outdoors and close to nature as much as possible. I live a natural and organic life style. I love college athletics and am a proud Sun Devil and Spartan.
